Help us change the world, one student at a time. Seattle Amistad School's Giving Tuesday

We have grown so much in the last 10 years. We certainly wouldn't be where we are at today without you. But we still have long ways to go. This year, 750,000 students have attended elementary school in Washington State. Out of these, 35,000 students in 110 public elementary schools from the Seattle School District have no access to dual learning. The Seattle School District has a current plan of action to have immersive public school options from K to 8th but not until 2040.

Our students become bilingual at a very young age. It's been proven by several studies that children who learn a second language develop better cognitive skills and empathy. So, why wait until 2040 to give children the opportunity of a better future?

At Amistad, he work hard every day to fill in a huge cultural gap in education. We believe in taking care of our children first, centering education around them and taking care of our community as well. For us, money will never be an impediment, whenever families need us we find all the options available to open our doors to them. In we wouldn't be able to do that without your amazing help and donations to our scholarship fund every year. As the school grows every year, our need to cover tuition for more students grows too.

So, during this Holiday season while you are shopping for all your loved ones, please keep us in mind during #GivingTuesday. Help us keep changing the world one student at a time!
